Meet Cindy

Hey there!

I’m Cindy Rogers, the heart and soul behind Halfway Creek Farms, a little slice of paradise named after the quaint creek meandering through our land. From the moment I could walk and talk, my dreams were a bit different from the usual. While my friends dreamed of exploring space, arguing in courtrooms, or healing the sick, I harbored a secret wish to live in a world where I could chat with animals, just like Dr. Dolittle. Yes, you read that right! My childhood was filled with sneaky adventures of bringing home frogs, snakes, and wounded birds, much to my mother’s chagrin. But hey, dreams do come true, and mine certainly did, thanks to my incredible husband, Benji.

Benji is the unsung hero who’s been turning my whimsical dreams into reality, one enclosure, fence, and garden at a time. He’s my rock, my voice of reason, and honestly, the only thing standing between our farm and a full-blown zoo! Together, we’ve built a life that’s a testament to love, laughter, and the joy of being surrounded by animals.

Halfway Creek Farms is our cozy, family-owned haven where life is simple, and the joy is in the little moments. Our motley crew of animals includes chickens, goats, a donkey, a pig, emu’s, and not to forget, our majestic English Mastiffs: Zoe, Tess, Riot, & Yeti. Each one has a personality as big as their heart, and they’re all a part of our ever-growing family.

Speaking of family, Benji and I are blessed with two wonderful children. Ansley, our 19-year-old, is currently exploring her own dreams at USC, and Landon, our 17-year-old, is on the cusp of graduation, ready to take on the world. They’ve grown up amidst the chaos and charm of farm life, and we couldn’t be prouder of the compassionate, hardworking individuals they’ve become.
